DION is a digital wine/lifestyle magazine and platform that evokes the lore of Dionysus, the ancient Greek god of wine, by striving to spread joy, pleasure, education, revelry, empowerment and theatrics to the masses.
OUR STORY
DION magazine is a story-telling vehicle and platform that centers wine and lifestyle topics and how they revolve around and relate to the Black community in particular, as well as other marginalized groups and our cousin-communities. DION is an independently-owned, Black-owned publication created by New York City-based Sommelier and author Charles Dion Springfield.

DION is to blessed and proud to call New York City its home of operations. We are based in the legendary Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan. That gives us access to amazing resources, information, products, experts and partners related to the Black community and outward. But our hope is that the content featured in the magazine and platform represent individuals from all over the world. We all deserve to be seen, heard and patronized.
